Bracket Prepares for 2011

Bracket

One of Nigeria’s leading groups, Bracket is currently in South-Africa. They left the shores of Nigeria fews days back with popular video director, Clarence Peters to shoot videos for some of the songs on their new album.
Following the heavy impact of the hit single Yori Yori, Bracket has headlined a lot of concerts and embarked on international tours around the world including countries like; Kenya, Tanzania, south America, united states, Uganda, UK, Holland e.tc. The song and video has also won several accolades including a couple of awards e.g NMVA 2009 for best Hi-Life video, wedding planner song of the year award 2009, museke Africa song of the year award 2010, Soundcity nominee for discovery of the year 2009 etc. The Yori Yori remix with Tuface idibia is just a prelude to the new twist of what is to come, the duo is definitely not resting on their oars as the best is yet to be heard or seen from Bracket.
After a very successful outing in 2009/2010 with the Yori-yori album, the group went underground in the fall of 2010 leaving friends and fans wondering about their where about and what they were particularly up to. It has now been made official that the group’s album is expected to contain 10 tracks with notable collabos with multiple award winning stars P-square, Flavor and a host of others.
The songs were produced by decumzy and phyno while the entire album project will be mixed and mastered by the extremely talented sound engineer the man with the Midas touch; Foster Zino. Even though they are keeping it under wraps, Bracket’s greatest surprise for the forth coming album will be in the new and leading singles which are expected to be a blend of totally brand new tunes as well as accompanying dance swags for the club lovers.
The album has presumably everything for different class of people ranging from the elderly people to the younger generation.
The year 2011 will sure be another interesting year in the entertainment calendar in Nigeria as different Nigerian acts are buckling up their shoes and doing every thing possible to be on the number one spot. The duo of Ozioko Nwachukwu a.k.a Vast and Ali Obumneme alias Smash of the Bracket fame are up to new surprises.
